Climate

The Pendleton area offers a sunny climate with over a hundred days of clear skies each year. Weather systems coming predominantly from the Pacific with moderate temperature characteristics – cleared of the heaviest rains by the Cascade Mountains in the west – result in generally mild temperatures in Pendleton. Four distinct seasons mean our residents enjoy wide range of outdoor activities from water skiing to snowmobiling and everything in between.
